Ever watched a podcast and thought, "I could do that?" Do you want to be the next Zohran or Hank Green? Well, you can. And we want to help.

Project Journeyman is a joint initiative by progressive content creators and other partners to empower the next generation of leaders online. We know how to go viral, and we want to help you do it too.

We'll teach you skills like shooting, editing, and public speaking, and we'll match you with mentors who want to share the secrets of their success.

New Creator Fellowship

The brand-new Journeyman New Creator Fellowship is a 6-week accelerator program that helps new creators go viral.

If you have an idea (explainers, skits, street interviews, or even Minecraft parodies) that makes the world a better place, we want to help you make it a reality.

Participants will meet weekly, learn skills from public speaking to hacking the TikTok algorithm, and receive mentorship from the biggest names in the game. You'll meet the creative talent behind the Zohran campaign, Subway Takes, and more. The first session runs from January 29 to March 5.

Eligibility:Young creators in the DC area

New Media Internship (Summer 2026)

One summer to go viral. Project Journeyman seeks interns to do two things this summer: help progressive influencers make content, AND start posting your own content and building your own brands. This apprenticeship-style model will give you hands-on training and mentorship from the most viral communicators in politics.

We seek ambitious, creative candidates prepared for more freedom and more responsibility than you'll find in almost any other internship.

Eligibility: Young people who can locate in Washington, DC for the summer.

Dates: June 8 – August 3 (can be adjusted to your needs), 40 hrs/week.

Status: Unpaid (we encourage all applicants to seek external funding).
